Bio
Wendell became a licensed massage therapist in 2006 in Seattle and has worked with The Massage Team since late 2007. He is a member of American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), the Columbia City Business Association (CCBA) and the Washington State Bar. Since 2010 he splits his massage time between Event/Workplace massage with The Massage Team and his primary focus at his Columbia City massage studio. Wendell offers a spa style, relaxation-focused service drawing from Hawaiian Lomi-Lomi, Ayurvedic, traditional Western "Swedish" as well as deep tissue. Wendell offers Hot Stone work and Temple Style Lomi Lomi. He does body treatments including seaweed gel detox body wraps, aromatherapy bodywraps and brown sugar body scrubs. His approach assists the body heal and maintain itself via stress reduction. Wendell understands that everyone has areas of concern that require more focused, therapeutic attention. In his free time, Wendell likes to garden, spending time with his partner at their Columbia City home often preparing for dinner parties. Wendell is active at Saint James Cathedral in the liturgy. Finally, Wendell is a big proponent of naps!
