Frequently Asked Questions
What equipment do you use?
We offer massage service on both "tables" and chairs which are specialised pieces of massage furniture. Many people are familiar with massage tables from the spa and clinical setting. We use the same equipment in the on-site format - but the client remains fully clothed and ready to return to work or play.
What is chair massage?
Chair massage is a 15 minute massage that focuses mainly on the high tension areas of the neck, back and shoulders. Chair massage is performed on a specially designed portable massage chair. It is effective at producing results in a brief period of time by concentrating the massage on the areas of greatest tension.
How much space do you need?
Space requirements are minimal – our specially designed massage chairs are roughly the size of a large office chair. The therapist needs only enough room to walk around the chair comfortably.
How does your pricing work?
We offer an all-inclusive hourly rate with price breaks for repeat business and volume discounts for large jobs. A discount is also offered for Schools and non-profit. There are 3 convenient ways to set up our services: Company Sponsored (Company pays 100%), Co-Sponsored (Company & Employee divide cost) and Employee Sponsored (Employees pay 100%). Are your therapists properly trained?
As we understand we are entering your work space, all of the L.M.P's at On-Site MassageWorks are highly skilled and professional. They carry a state license and liability insurance, all of which can be provided upon request.
